Long Time, No Post

Friends, sorry for the long drought on posts. Since we got my wife's permanent residency, we received her social security card too, which allowed her to take her written test to get her a driver's permit in this state, and now I get to take her driving until she is ready to take the driving test for her permanent license. That is probably the only big step between the previous entries and citizenship after 3 years of permanenet residency, but maybe more will happen for me to blog about.

She is also preparing for a trip back to China for a month with our son. My step-mom and her sister will go and take a tour of the country for most of that month via travel agent extraoirdinaire, Winser Zhao. He has set up an itinerary where they see so much of China at a price that is unbelievably low to the Chinese people who have reviewed it.
